剧中对话的英語时态问题

各位好 不知道在这边询问以下这些问题 是否恰当 不过因为很迷这部影集 所以有空就播放来看与听 也下载了英文字幕 然而里面有些时态用法 我不太能理解 希望各位能不吝解惑 1. You've got to stop him doing that. He's making us look like idiots. If you can tell me how he does it, I'll stop him. 当Sally跟Lestrade抱怨阿福的作为时 为什么Lestrade要用If you can tell me how he does it…..而不是how he did it 他用does是不是意味着 阿福在这类场合发texts的行为是经常性的?? 2. 阿福 在taxi上跟花生解说为什么他知道花生的哥哥(实为姐姐)有酗酒习惯时说: Power connection -tiny little scuff marks round it. Every night he plugs it in but his hands are shaking. 为什么阿福不说Every night he plugged it in but his hands were shaking. 我想阿福是在说Harry当初用那只手机的情形 这样是不是应该用过去式? 3. 当阿福带花生到命案现场外时 遇到Sally的刁难 花生说: Would it be better if I just waited... would 与 waited 的过去式用法 是不是一种客气的表达 还是有另外涵义?? 4. 当阿福对Lestrade与花生解释那位粉红女士的背景时 阿福说: The only polishing it gets is when she works it off her finger. It's not for work, look at her nails. She doesn't work with her hands, so what or other who does she remove her rings for? 为什么阿福不用过去式表达: when she worked it off her finger……She didn’t work with her hands……so what or other who did she remove her rings for? 毕竟这位粉红女士已经过世了 提及已经过世的人 不是用过去式?? 5. 然后阿福接着说那些受害者But they take the poison themselves, they swallow the pills themselves. 为什么不是用过去式took 与 swallowed，毕竟是过去的事了?? 6. 对了阿福也说那位粉红女士She colour-coordinates her lipstick and her shoes. 这边也是用现在式 而不是过去式??? 7. 阿福后来找到suitcase 后 在他们的住处对花生说She has a string of lovers and she's careful about it. She never leaves her phone at home. 为什么不用had 与left 以上的时态问题 大部分都是我想应该用过去式 不过却是用现在式 让我有点疑惑 希望大家可以解答我的疑惑
