  法国读书杂志《Lire》评选有史以来五十佳漫画（2012）：

  1. Tintin au Tibet, Hergé (1960)

  Album de la maturité et de la sagesse, Tintin au Tibet est un hymne à l'amitié et au sacrifice, une aventure intérieure qui ne laisse pas de charmer ni d'émouvoir. L'album était, au dire d'Hergé, son préféré. C'est le nôtre également.

  2. Maus, Art Spiegelman (1986)

  Album inclassable, qui aura propulsé la bande dessinée dans une dimension nouvelle. Paru à une époque où les oeuvres sur l'Holocauste n'étaient pas encore devenues un genre en soi, Maus a sidéré par son usage d'animaux pour représenter le drame.

  3. La Ballade de la mer salée, Hugo Pratt (1975)

  Corto Maltese est un héros sans précédent dans la BD -courageux mais énigmatique, attitude toujours distanciée-, jeté dans une atmosphère ambiguë, étrangère à tout manichéisme, suscitant autour de lui un monde de figures complexes.

  4. La marque jaune, Edgar P. Jacobs (1956)

  Cet ouvrage à la couverture mythique concentre à lui seul tous les éléments qui ont fait le succès du duo londonien: suspense, virilité et anticipation scientifique. Le tout enrobé dans une narration plus trépidante que jamais.

  5. Watchmen, Alan Moore et Dave Gibbons (1986)

  Alan Moore développe avec cet album une ambition nouvelle dans le monde des comics, mélange de complexité et de réalisme. Ici, pas de 'vlam' ni de 'pow', mais une approche sobre de l'action, qui laisse davantage de place à l'interrogation métaphysique et politique.

  6. Little Nemo, Winsor McCay (1905)

  Une série d'aventures totalement folles, dont le héros porte le nom 'julesvernien' de Petit Capitaine Nemo. La double astuce de l'auteur est de justifier cette folie par le prétexte du rêve et de terminer chaque planche par une vignette qui montre Little Nemo se réveillant brutalement.

  7. Jimmy Corrigan, Chris Ware (2000)

  Jimmy Corrigan s'est imposé en un rien de temps comme la BD maîtresse des années 2000. Et rarement consécration n'aura été aussi méritée, tant cet album inclassable respire le chef-d'oeuvre à chaque page.

  8. L'Ascension du Haut Mal, David B. (1996)

  L'auteur s'attaque au récit de son enfance dans la banlieue d'Orléans, troublée par l'épilepsie de son frère. Outre la geste familiale, David B. dévoile en creux la naissance d'un imaginaire, l'épanouissement d'une vocation...

  9. Arzach, Moebius (1976)

  Le dépaysement est absolu et la perplexité de beaucoup de lecteurs totale devant cette oeuvre 'insensée'. Mais la majeure partie des lecteurs sortent de cet univers enthousiasmés par les possibilités s'offrant désormais au 'neuvième art'.

  10. QRN sur Bretzelburg, André Franquin (1966)

  En cherchant à s'extraire du monde habituel de Spirou, Franquin signe une aventure profondément originale, qui lui permet de donner libre cours à ses penchants antimilitaristes.
