  凑合翻的吧。有几个地方不大会翻，大家帮忙想想。 1 　　 And some southern queen is acting loud and mean 　　 where the docks and the badlands meet 这个句子的从句怎么翻？ 2 　　 There's a Crawford, Davis 　　 and a tacky Cary Grant Cary Grant在google上查似乎是个演员，那Crawford和Davis是谁呢？应该也是名人吧。 3 There's the Born Again Losers and the Lavender Boozers 这一句里的两种人我不知道美国文化里是否有什么典故，至少我没查出来。有一本书叫做One Day in the Life of a Born Again Loser的，但关于Lavender Boozer却什么也查不到。不过我想，Lou Reed应该是很看不起这两种人的（我也看不上^_^） 4 　　 There's a girl from Soho with a T-shirt saying "I Blow" 　　 she's with the "Jive Five 2 Plus 3" 　　 And the girls for pay dates are giving cut rates 　　 or else doing it for free 这一段也不好翻。尤其是第二句。我总觉得我能理解这种感觉，但就是说不出来，所以我就按字面上的意思翻译了

  这首歌可以说是我最喜欢的Lou Reed的歌曲……之一。光看歌词我不知道大家能不能明白什么意思，其实，这首歌歌名处应该有一个小的括号的：Aids 主题为艾滋病的游行，今年还有你，明年可能就没有了

  我在网上看到这样一段话介绍万圣节：

  万圣节在歌里有这样的隐喻：万圣节是鬼节，游行的人在装鬼，也就是假扮死去的人(如“嘉宝”和“希区科克)。而真正死去的人再也不能参加万圣节了。但是，如果这个万圣节成了真的(is something to be sure/it might be true)，也许就能在游行的队伍中看见他(的鬼魂:see you next year)。

  又，我很喜欢大胃麒麟的版本，因为Lou的纽约是唱起来节奏和韵律十足的那种。第一段我也比较信服。Google了几个南方皇后，都是船。
