他让父亲打拳,是因为他想要父亲有属于自己的东西,真正的只属于那种。

What’s happening in China isn’t equal to what’s happing in America. You may have a self-important illusion that the whole world is deeply concerned about the economic quagmire we the Chinese have got ourselves into. That may be the case to the policy-makers. But to the common people who just happen to the readers of the New Yorker, I don’t think the majority of them would give an iota of damn. Not to mention what was going on in the northern China two decades ago. They probably feel your sadness. But they surely feel sadder for their rising gas prices. And it’s quite absurd to misread the efforts of cultural diversity made by the liberal part of America as the respect towards China paid by that whole nation. It’s this typical type of egoism that has trapped the mind of the Chinese people at the corner of East Asia for such a long time. Long long before the Opium War started.
I guess it’s my fault to have engaged in this conversation and I shall say no more.

看了上面两位的观点,我也想谈谈我的看法。首先我觉得文学评论和欣赏是可以根据不同读者的族裔和文化背景有不同的观察角度的,我不觉得在这里面有一个或者应当有一个的主流的角度,标签式的类似东方vs西方,中国vs美国,都有些架空的嫌疑,话说回来,一篇文章和文艺作品即使在同一个文化圈层里也会因为每个人的不同看法会产生不一样的评论观点。其实我们只要做到我们只speak for ourselves就好,没有必要judge别人的分析角度,这不正是多样性的美的点吗?其次至于New Yorker为什么选这篇文章,为什么在这个时间点选这篇,我个人觉得有点偏离咱们文章评论的初衷,我觉得大可不必花再多篇幅去猜杂志社的动机。分享下我自己的主观看法,若有偏颇,欢迎指正。
