课程简介
本课程旨在探讨全球史理论,练习全球史写作。在课程中,我们将阅读、讨论全球史领域前沿论著,批判、反思目前全球史理论所存在的问题,同时也将通过论文写作来实践全球史研究。通过这种理论、实践相结合的训练方式,这门课将帮助学生逐步养成主动参与全球史前沿议题讨论的学术能力。
In this course, we are going to practice global history. We will read and write global history. We will discuss whether the concept of “global history” has been overused, diluted, become less critical, and been subject to “the law of diminishing marginal returns”. Combining reading, writing, and discussing, this course aims toencourage students critically engaging with the ongoing debates concerning doing history globally.
