Buyi Band's first EP "That Place of Buyi Band" includes the three songs "Before", "Distant Place", and Zhang Wei's guitar piece "Spring Equinox". Lina is Buyi Band's female base player. The track "Before" on this EP was made for her by Buyi Band. When she joined the band Lina started her journey of rock and with outstanding skill she has won the affirmation of of Buyi Band and the rock industry. Also her moving beauty has made Lina the blazing focus of Buyi Band on stage. As well as playing bass, Lina's voice is her other beautiful power. Lina is a beauty of the bass strings and this is the start of her vocal sound. Like 'Houlai' by Rene Liu's (Liu Ruoying) Lina's 'Before' is a successful mix of different approaches, country style rhythm and female delicacy. It shows a different disposition of Buyi Band. "Distant Place" was made especially for the EP. It is a beautifully produced song that guitarist Zhang Wei personally took to America for post-production work. The musical tone is bleak and grand, slowly surging and sombre. The song sings about dreams and troubles, Buyi Band's search for hope through difficulties. "Spring Equinox" is the track created by Buyi guitarist Zhang Wei purely for guitar. A divine work of genius that let nature take its course in the recording studio. To be released in the capital on 20th March, "Spring Equinox" recalls emotively the good fortune of nature. On the same night, as well as the EP, the Buyi Band network website will launch another seed of hope.
