基础口译历年真题笔试部分解析（听力、阅读、翻译）

2012年4月基础口译笔试考试解析： 　　本篇为2012年4月8日上午在上外举行的基础口译考试解析。下面大概对上午的听力部分考试做一个简单的评析。 　　Spot dictation 总体难度比2011年10月考试的难度有所降低，但其篇幅长度略有增加。所涉及话题背景为基础口译听力教程第6单元有关Education的话题。该话题不论是在听力阶段抑或口译阶段培训中，都是教师强调的重中之重。从所填词汇来看，数字仍旧是考察重点，其中包括1/3, 22%, half of 等。与去年10月的考试相比，所填词汇难度也有所下降，其词汇完全出自我们的听力讲义备考词汇，如released, followed by,enrolling,spread across,record，harm of ,lack of,looking for,modernize,business,special efforts,greet,Asian foods,preferred,routes,cultural diversity. 　　Listening Comprehension部分，无论是Statements还是Short Conversation都出现不少平时练习做过的，都是上外口译培训书本上的原题，比如Statements中有关厨师长的那一题，以及Short Conversation中Remain Standing的那一题等等。剩下的题目难度适宜，总体难度与往年持平。考生应该也能从容应对。 　　Listening And Translation部分本身属于难度逐年上升的趋势，但相比于平时练习的难度，还是有所降低，话题也是我们平时练习所接触过的并不陌生。基本难度与往年考试相差不多,其中最后一篇段落翻译为15单元的原题。 　　下午听力部分的statements中有好几句是上外口译培训教材中听力教程的原题。 　　1.That math problem is a hard one, even for Diana. 　　解析：听力教程unit1中statements第五题。even甚至，说明Diana的数学非同寻常的好呢! 　　2.Today is Thursday, and the exhibit is supposed to open the day after tomorrow. 　　解析：听力教程unit2中statements第二题。The day after tomorrow表示两天后，今天是周四，两天后当然就是周六咯! 　　3.The school boys walked into the hall two by two. 　　解析：听力教程unit3中statements第三题。我们上课时经常说让学生one by one地回答问题，所以two by two就是两个两个，即in pairs啦! 　　4.There hasn’t been a chef like Rob for a great many years. 　　解析：听力教程unit6中statements第八题。上课时还重点强调过哦!因为许多同学不明白exceptional(杰出的)含义，Joyce告诉大家，这个词就相当于excellent, marvellous, terrific, wonderful, great这一类表示赞赏的褒义词啦! 　　5.The referee blew his whistle and he brought the football game to a halt. 　　解析：听力教程unit7中statements第七题。Referee和whistle都是上课讲解过的词汇内容，bring to a halt意思就是裁判暂停了比赛(stop the match)嘛! 　　6.I ran into my former teacher in college yesterday. 　　解析：run into sb是我们在口译部分词汇表中出现过的单词哦，表示“偶然遇见某人”。 　　7.When we knew you had a safe journey home, it was a load off my mind. 　　解析：load就相当于一个burden(负担，重负),a load off my mind表示“心中的大石头落地了”，所以是“安心，放心”的意思啦! 　　8.We stored a lot on the hard drive in the company. 　　hard drive表示“硬盘驱动器”的意思，这句话的意思是“我们在公司的硬盘驱动上储存了很多信息”。 　　9.Frankly speaking, I don’t think much of this movie. 　　解析：think much of sth表示“赞扬，对。。。高度评价”的意思。我对这部电影don’t’ think much of，当然是指我觉得这部电影不好看，不怎么样啦! 　　10.
