Some might say that money is the source of happiness, while some one treats it as the root of all evil. To me, money is essential for life, but it doesn't mean everything.
Money is essential in the society, because most of us can't go hunting for food. We buy basic supplies for living, and further, improve our material life by using more money. Besides, we also use it to get some entertainment and satisfy part of our spiritual needs. So money is an essential tool in modern society.
As mentioned before, money is only a tool, a medium of getting material and part of spiritual needs. But there are still something you can't get using money, like love and friendship. Maybe you can make some "friends" by giving them money or something valuable. They'll pretend to be kind to you, and you get benefits from each other. But one day when you're in trouble, they won't give helping hands. Stable relationship between people doesn't build upon money. When you be kind to others and shows your force of personality, they'll give you the same in return. This is not the matter of rich or poor. It's the behavior from deep inside of your heart.
When you treat money right, it will benefit you from every way. But don't try to get everything from it. It will make you loose yourself.
