Today, a documentary about art cars showed ino my university.
The film was made of colors. Those art cars made by various kinds of people are amazingly good. Every one behind them has their unique story to tell. It is hard not to be moved by their passion towards what they pursue and what they think are worth working on. One old man can make great melody by knocking spoons together. And he decorates his car with thousands of spoons. There is a girl who starts from person hating human to a new self. She glues broken toys of legs and heads on her car and her car can even make fire. However, she smashes her car later and determine to move forwards. There is a man who changes his car into a boat moving on the roads. And it is terribly like a real boat. I thought it might be difficult to do some change to one's car. But later according to the director who was a character in the documentary and as well as a fan of art cars, all you need is to find a good glue and what is left is up to you.
There is a art car parade in the film. And I see all kinds of cars which reflect people's ideas, personal emotions and character. It's uniqueness, creativity and passion. I can tag them as part of American spirits and I wonder when we Chinese can release those spirits in us. Some of people in the film may be viewed as weird and crazy. But just as one man in the movie said, "we are born differently and our happiness are different." Not everyone can find pleasure in doing this kind of thing but neither can people find pleasure in being lawyers or doctors.
What I should do is to discover my passion and stick to it.
