【注1】 此曲喊着要翻译也得有个把年头了，只是自己水平太糙。我一直都觉得翻译的属性有两部分，一部分是以贴近原版为佳，另一部分是自己的想法和感受——这和翻弹的道理是一样的。任何翻译都不可能不带上自己的感情色彩，我想我现在能做的，只是尽可能地呈现能呈现的部分，其余的阅历和感受，也确实没有达到水准，纯属业余把玩罢了。只是多年不动米叔作品，今次翻译一遍，也算是给多年来的情结一个交代。
the blower’s daughter也算是米叔最出名的作品了，之所以一直都没有动笔糟践它是因为can't take my eyes off you此句太美，又实在没有灵感可以翻译成汉字。今次也是偶然为之，望没有毁了看官的双目。
米叔的作品就是这样，唯闷骚两字可以形容，虽然很贴近我的性格但是文字方面有点和自己近几年的无厘头趋势有很大的差别，算是勉强为之，勿喷。

【注3】the blower's daughter 直译为理发师的女儿，根据米叔网站介绍是米叔十二岁左右看上的一小妞，直译有些别扭，擅自做主了。
【注4】米叔不是一个善于讽刺他人的人物，他更多的是自嘲，因此斗胆这么翻译了。
