 目的：公司所有权性质、主要业务、主要客户、收入结构、成本结构、员工规模、人才结构、战略方向、主要风险。
行业综述性书籍
 目的：了解行业的商业模式和业务
2. 行业最新历史和最新动态
a. 搜索5年行业信息
资源：
麦肯锡季刊
经济学人行业分析
b.订阅最新新闻咨询
具体操作：
1. 年报获取
关于食品添加剂行业我选择了DSM。原因：在参加食品添加剂的展会过程中，发现了有几家国际大公司一直都很活跃，包含了DSM、Cargil、DuPont、T&L等。但是，直觉感觉DSM更为大型和综合性较强。
公司财报获取过程：
公司官网搜索2012 annual report，很容易就找到了年报，并且还提供手机浏览的Version。不禁感慨，果然是国外人性化呀！
另外年报挺有意思的说明：
Integrated Annual Report 2012
Since 2010 DSM has combined its Annual Financial Report with its Annual Sustainability (Triple P) Report to produce an Integrated Annual Report.
从2010年开始，DSM将年度财务报表和年度可持续发展报告合并在一起组成了综合年度报表。
年报下载下来发现很长共有200多页，但是网站很贴心的列出了目录，并根据目录截取了相应的报告内容，方便浏览者按照自己的目的进行下载。以下是具体的目录：
