秘鲁4000年金字塔被拆--开发商干的！

                
                
背景资料：
据法国《费加罗报》近日报道，日前，最近刚被发现的秘鲁首都利马附近的El Paraiso考古学遗址成为两家房产开发商的破坏目标，这些不法分子已经毁坏了一座6米高、有4000年历史的金字塔。
　　秘鲁文化部7月1日发表的公告称：“6月29日，一伙不法分子乘着一辆挖土机进入El Paraiso考古学遗址，并毁坏了一座6米高，面积为2500平方米的金字塔。”在毁坏金字塔后，这伙人又将毁掉的废墟倒在了遗址附近，并放火烧掉，这样做是为了清理现场，毁灭证据。随后，他们还想破坏其他金字塔，但被警方发现，于是逃跑了。
                
                
El Paraiso考古学遗址背靠山丘，临近大海，是利马最大最古老的考古学遗址，位于秘鲁海岸的中心。这一遗址中有许多废墟，为了重现它的重要价值，2012年12月开始进行对遗址的修复工程，去年2月，有了第一次重大发现：此处发现一个板块，与哥伦布发现新大陆以前的宗教教义有密切关系，而且非常古老，大概在5000年以前(公元前3000年)。
Authorities in Peru say an ancient pyramid at the oldest archaeological site near the capital, Lima, has been destroyed.

They are pressing criminal charges against two real-estate companies blamed for tearing down the structure, which was 6m (20-ft) high.
Criminal charges，犯罪指控。后面跟against。官方正在指控两家地产开发商。
An archaeologist said those responsible had committed "irreparable damage". The building was one of 12 pyramids found at the El Paraiso complex and is thought to be at least 4,000 years old. The site, which dates back to the Late Preceramic (3500-1800 BC) period, is situated several kilometres north of Lima.

“We are not going to be able to know in what ways it was constructed, what materials were used in it and how the society in that part of the pyramid behaved”, Marco Guilen Director of excavation project, El Paraiso. According to Peru's tourism ministry, it was a religious and administrative centre long before the pre-Columbian Inca civilisation.
官方挖掘项目的总监说，我们这下子没法知道这个金字塔是怎么建起来的，用了什么材料，还有当时那些人是怎么生活的了。当时那里是前哥伦比亚印卡文化的宗教和行政中心。
                
                
Rafael Varon, deputy minister of cultural patrimony, said the destruction had taken place over the weekend. He said company workers using heavy machinery had attempted to destroy three further pyramids, but had been stopped by onlookers.
秘鲁文化遗产部副部长说，这个破坏是周末搞得，这般人还想用大型机械来破坏另外三个金字塔，但被人阻止了。Patrimony是个难词，遗产、继承的东西。Onlooker就是旁观者。
Mr Varon said criminal complaints had been lodged against two companies. Marco Guilen, director of an excavation project at El Paraiso, told Associated Press news agency the people who tore down the pyramid "have committed irreparable damage to a page of Peruvian history".
秘鲁的形容词是Peruvian。Lodge，这里是file的意思。发起对xxx的指控。
