　　Achilles,是希腊之神中的其中一位“阿基里斯”。传说，阿基里斯的脚踝看来很小，但却是致命的弱点。
　　因此也就有了这样一个习语：
　　an/one's Achilles heel, it means weak or vulnerable point; fault, especially in somebody's character, which can lead to his downfall.表示致命弱点；(尤指某人个性中可导致一败涂地的)缺陷。
　　我们来看用法：
　　Vanity is his Achilles hell.
　　虚荣自负是他的致命伤。
