此诗出自《疑似风月中集》，由扎西拉姆·多多于2007年5月15日撰写于北京。
 
关于这首诗，作者曾有自述：
 
这一首的灵感，是来自于莲花生大师非常著名的一句话：“我从未离弃信仰我的人，或甚至不信我的人，虽然他们看不见我，我的孩子们，将会永远永远受到我慈悲心的护卫。”我想要通过这首诗表达的是上师对弟子不离不弃的关爱，真的跟爱情、跟风月没有什么关系。
