【按】 如果说写诗是火里种莲，译诗又何尝不是呢。
Planting a lotus in fire
The moment you look up,
It's fire there, incompatible with water.
The moment you look down,
It's water there, incompatible with fire.
Voice unchanged, meaning in changes;
In the fury of the fierce foam
The ‘language emperor’ in his new clothes
Let out the syllables of waves,
Changing the meaning of water.
In this tremendous chaos I feel
He is like you, and also unlike.

有不容水火的水
不变的音声，万变含义
在狂暴的白沫里
穿新衣的汉语皇帝
发出海浪的音节
改变海水的意义
在万般的大混乱里体会一
好像是你，又不像你
