Climbing Up The Walls是Radiohead 1997年的专辑《OK Computer》里的第9首。Wikipedia上说这歌的弦乐部分由Jonny Greenwood创作，灵感来自波兰现代古典音乐作曲家Krzysztof Penderecki的Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima（致广岛受难者的挽歌）。关于歌词，Thom Yorke说到他在纽约时报上看到的一篇文章。文章说美国历史上连环杀人案十个里有八个的情形是：发生在1980年之后，凶手为介于30到40岁之间的男性，刚失去工作或是刚经历离婚。
