Catherine liked high places
High up on the hills
A place for making noises
Noises like the whales
Here she built a chapel
With her image on the wall
A place where she could rest

【2】“pleasure”：从网上看到的歌词里，pleasure的前面都有一个of，于是就成了She once was a lady of pleasure，而lady of pleasure是“娼妓”的意思。经仔细辩听，pleasure前面并没有of。

(Mother, Mother Superior, or Reverend Mother)(especially as a title or form of address) the head of a female religious community / 妇女宗教团体的女主持人（尤用于称号或称呼）
The Wind是PJ Harvey发行于1998年的专辑《Is This Desire?》里的第三首歌。Songmeanings上一位叫做MuddyMae的网友给了一个关于St Catherine的链接：www.st-catherine.org.uk/harvey1.htm，还给了一段祈祷文，如下：
"The chapel in Abbotsbury is often visited by women who are looking for husbands. There is a prayer for them to say:
A husband, St Catherine
A handsome one, St Catherine
A rich one, St Catherine

Catherine was then scourged and imprisoned, during which time over 200 people came to see her, including Maxentius' wife, the Empress; all converted to Christianity and were subsequently martyred.[7] Upon the failure of Maxentius to make Catherine yield by way of torture, he tried to win the beautiful and wise princess over by proposing marriage. The saint refused, declaring that her spouse was Jesus Christ, to whom she had consecrated her virginity. The furious emperor condemned Catherine to death on the spiked breaking wheel, but, at her touch, this instrument of torture was miraculously destroyed.[6]Maxentius finally had her beheaded.
