转一个日志，沉浸在avenue q的余韵里

在百老匯當紅音樂劇《Avenue Q》(Q大道) 一堆幽默諷刺又勵志的有趣歌曲中，只有這首「一線之間」(There's a Fine, Fine Line) 帶點憂鬱色彩，卻讓人印象深刻。
猶記得去年在紐約的MBA同學看了Avenue Q後，陸續把MSN暱稱都改成There's a Fine, Fine Line，搞的沒看過此劇的學長一頭霧水，問我：Why does everyone has a fine, fine line?
這是女主角Kate Monster被男主角Princeton以「我要先追尋我的人生目標，不能在愛情上蹉跎光陰」為理由拋棄，獨自神傷時唱的歌。我猜，MBA人﹝或任何社會新鮮人﹞會這麼喜歡，是因為它用簡單幾句就說完了我們面對的曖昧不明與惶惑不安，無論是愛情、工作、夢想、或人生。

女主角的歌聲很像卡通人物，是故意的。因為這齣劇是探討美國「芝麻街世代」﹝也就是從小看芝麻街長大的一代，二三十歲左右的年輕人，包括我在內﹞的徬徨，刻意模仿芝麻街的真人+布偶演出。這首歌最有趣的地方是，歌詞就像主題一樣模糊曖昧，不同人會有迥異解讀。
