To get rid of the "Pas" bit in the brain
1. By Talking about it
2. Write about a trauma or about a superficial topics for four days, 15 minutes a day
3. Focus on weakness in training, focus on strengths in performance
4. Behavioral Exposure
1). Functional Analysis
2). Exposure ... volenteerly expose yourself in the uncomfortable situations (discoumfort will go up rapidly, necessary to stay in the situation until the discomfort goes back down)
3). 2 Types of learning
- physiological stimulus-response restructuring
- broader implicit belief-system restructuring
4). Right-brain -- left-brain balance
- How much the "I" part of the self is influenced by the "experiential" self.
- Eastern (meditation). Allowing thoughts to Pass with accepting, non judgmental and compassionate awareness
- Western (cognitive) mindfulness. Drawing novel distinctions about objects in awareness
