影史上最著名的一张周年纪念碟。解决了一桩公案。这部奥逊·威尔斯的大片当年被片商剪得体无完肤（这个版本包含在碟内），导演本人疾书几十页备忘录希望公司能让自己重新剪一个版本，惨遭拒绝；直到1998年才被Rick Schmidlin等人根据威尔斯的笔记，重新剪辑成导演的初衷（这个版本也包含在碟内）。这还不算完，这套碟还收录了一个1978年环球公司发现的珍贵的“预览版”，这是奥逊·威尔斯当年将该片交给片商前，自己初剪的一个版本。一套碟，一部电影，三个版本，也算是奇景了。
