修辞手法题是SAT阅读中常见的题型，要做好这类题，首先我们必须熟悉常考的修辞手法以及它们的具体含义。
今天我们先来看一下simile，metaphor，和personification。simile指明喻，metaphor指暗喻，两者都属于比喻。它们最主要的区别是simile一般含有比喻词如like, as, seem, as if ,as though。而暗喻通常没有明显的比喻词。
Personification指拟人。我们来看一下具体的例子。
Whistling andmoaning, a 50-mile-an-hour wind whipped among the telescope domes atop Kitt Peak.A few feet below, turning gray in the dusk, slid a river of clouds that hadbeen rising and dropping all day.
