《The forgotten》——Jake Lucus
When we were young,we have nothing but lots of ideas,dreams were around us.friends were always by our side,laughing,playing around.We thought that was eternity.But things always change when we grow up.People is no longer like the one they used to be.In the beginning,when you were penniless, what you want was to get more.But once you achieved,you just looked back and thought about the happy days you had.
I know what Jake thought,keeped his friends together and tried hard to fix out everything wrong.Wear cartoon T-shirt,refuse to grow up,just hope to be another Peter Pan.But none of us success.We can't beat the nature,what I can do is accepting it.
Ps:Do you notice Jake's friends' face?When they talked about Jake,they smiled.They love him.
Alex:What happened at that cabin,Layla?
Layla:Nothing.We decided to sell the company.
Alex:But Jake didn't want to sell the company.He didn't want the four of you stop being friends,right?Layla,it's ok,you can tell us now.Unless you want to feel like this forever.
Layla:Jake..asked us to come up to lake shore,just like the old days.He said,when he got there,he told us he don't want to go through the sell.
Alex:Did he say why?
Layla:He said the four of us matters more to him than what he could get from it.We let the company destroy us.I knew what he want to fix it.Remind us of how we start it.
Grace:How did everyone take it?
Layla:Not well.Michael and Victor were angry at first.I know they want it out.But you know,after a while,they agreed not to sell.They wanted the money,But they...they knew what he mean.
Alex:Layla,if one of them wanted the money enough to kill Jake.
Layla:No.This was not about the money.
Jake was out on theXXX ,drinking the bear,looking at the stars.I waited to talk to him alone.I said Jake,whatever you like it or not,We are not kids any more.I'm a grown woman. How long is it could take you to know this is?

Grace:The three covered his death, sold the company.

Layla:We all had our phone out we were trying to find a signle to call the police.And then Victor said:"Do you realize that if Jake told one person he change his mind that no one is ever gona to believe we had do this"And he was right.So,yeah,we made it look like never happened.And yes,we took the money.Look how happy makes us.
Looking back,it was my mistake.I didn't want to grow up.I want it to go back.to to the beginning,to the days when all I have was an idea and four of us were still best friends.But you can go back.People change.Friendship evolve.I tried to keep our group together when it was met to come apart.Places can be magic,and certain times in your life can be magic too.But when I go,you have to let them go.I know that now,you still take them with you,the great days.The days when you are apart of sth.When all of you joining together because you care about the same thing.Old friends,they may not be with you,but they are a part of you.And then there's Kattie,the one friend who never left my side,I miss her.But I can't move on then.My name is Jake Lucus.
