【诗译】《城市》—卡瓦菲斯

今早微信推送里读到这首诗，对中文的翻译不甚喜欢，闲着没事又谷歌了下其他的翻译版本，还是不喜欢（可是因为我对诗读起来顺不顺口比较偏执）。然后心血来潮的本渣渣就试着自己练个手.... 《城市》—卡瓦菲斯 你说，“我要去往另一方热土，追寻另一片汪洋。 找到另一座城市，比这更好的地方。 命运将我所有的努力击败； 而我心亦如尸体般被掩埋。 这片荒原中的我的意志还能坚守多久？ 无论朝向哪里，举目何方， 眼前尽是我生命的黑色废墟，在这里， 我摧毁虚掷了多年时光。” 你找寻不到新的热土，与另一片汪洋。 这座城市将跟随你始终。你仍会在一如既往的街道上游荡。 在一如既往的邻里中衰老； 在一如既往的屋子里灰发苍苍。 你永远都将回到同一座城市。不要再期望他乡。 没有为你渡载的船，没有供你行走的路。 你既已毁掉了你的人生，在这小小的角落， 便是身处泱泱世界，也无力生还。 The City(1910) by Constantine P. The city will follow you. You will roam the same street. And you will age in the same neighborhoods; In these same houses you will grow gray. Always you will arrive in this city. Do not hope for another. There is no ship for you, there is no road. As you have ruined your life here in this litter corner, you have destroyed it in the entire world. 【碎碎念】 还是偏意译了吧。原诗是希腊文，英文翻译蛮多版（取材比较主流的一版），所以觉得不用太纠结英文直译，一万个哈姆雷特~ 再说谁看啊！本是翻了自己高兴。 另外我好像下意识是对重复，对称，呼应这种东西有一点点的执念....对押韵的执念更大了....换了一些词是为了压一点是一点...比如“埋葬”—“掩埋”，比如“城市”—“地方”....为什么。因为念着爽啊。 不过最后两句原本是下面这样的： “你既已毁掉了你的生活，在这小小角落， “你便也毁掉了你的人生，在这泱泱世界。” 最后又纠结了一下改成了现在的这样子： “你既已毁掉了你的人生，在这小小的角落，” “便是身处泱泱世界，也无力生还。” QAQ 为什么专门提，因为觉得还是不太好，第一个不喜欢，第二个似乎有点强凑的嫌疑，回头有想法了再改吧~ 2015-08-27
