If you’ve been burying your head in the sand over any kind of health, work or wellbeing issue, reality is likely to bite at the start of the month. Neptune in his ruling house in your chart (12th) will be at his closest to Earth and opposed the Sun in your 6th. Neptune is retrograde so no more illusions and you may receive a wake-up call if you have been persistently ignoring an issue. This can be anything from knowing you should change your diet or lifestyle, take better care of yourself or even telling yourself that your job is ‘okay’ when basically you know you are a square peg in a round hole. Remember, everything has a purpose and you also need to look to the new Moon in your 6th on the 13th which is also the day of a partial solar eclipse as this points to the path ahead that you need to take. Fortunately, ruler Mars enters here on the 25th, giving you the drive and courage to do whatever needs to be done.
Neptune also features in this month’s Pentagram which weaves its potent message across the sky on the 5th. This Pentagram is extremely interesting as it contains three retrograde planets – Venus, Neptune and Pluto and occurs the day before Venus once again moves direct in your 5th. The Moon in your 3rd is likely to beam in some news or contact that has a deep emotional bearing on all of this and with Mercury planet of communication in your 7th this could revolve around a partner or someone close to you and perhaps not even a current one. This again could all be about something from your past – including past relationships, being laid bare now. Others could see a past project surface again as something you let go of could return with fresh relevance. Travel, learning, soul freedom – all see you contemplating a move into a wider world of experience on some level as Neptune in your 9th opposes the Sun in your 3rd on the 1st. Neptune will pass at his closest point to Earth and what is more his retrograde phase means you may explore the path that’s opening up to you with clarity. Some of you could now be embarking on a course of study while others may literally travel. News could be the catalyst for all of this as you gain a larger [perspective or even have dealings with people from far away or overseas. Pay particular attention to what begins around the 13th as a slew of messages, communications or people asking for your decisions and/or ideas keep you busy and scrambling to keep up as the new Moon appears in your 3rd and a partial solar eclipse occurs. Strangely enough, if you are faced with decisions and choices, this new Moon asks that you not spend too
much time thinking things through and that you first instinct is usually going to be the correct one. In other words, don’t over-think things.
We have a complex series of aspects illuminating the sky during the first eight days of this month. As the Moon in your 12th sends you deep into uncovering the truth about something on the 5th, she forms part of a Pentagram which also includes Neptune, Mercury in your 4th, retrograde Venus in your 2nd and retrograde Pluto in your partnerships zone. Three out of five of these plants are in retrograde phase! The truth which may have been in front of you all along could be revealed in the next few days as Venus heads direct the following day (in her ruling house) and on the 8th the Moon has now entered your 1st and forms a Cardinal Grand Cross with Mercury, Pluto and Uranus in your 10th. Note once more that Uranus is retrograde so half of the planets in this aspect are also retrograde. What has been there all along that has been kept from you or you have chosen to ignore could now be suddenly revealed for what it really is – or this could even be an illusion you have held on to about someone being shattered for good.
Don’t necessarily jump to the conclusion that this is a bad thing as nobody likes to be kept in the dark and despite what is said, ignorance is not bliss. You will be poised and ready to act on what you may hear from the 25th when Mars enters your 3rd. He may also provide the desire to set you off in search of that bigger life experience I mentioned and if something needs to be said, he will have you saying it. This is a very good transit under which to pursue business or commercial activities, to engage in promotions (including self-promotion) or to fully appreciate that the pen can and is, mightier than the sword if wielded correctly. Your words have a real impact now so use them strategically and ensure you don’t prevaricate but get straight to the point.
