海+居SEAFORTH HOUSE
SEAFORTH HOUSE位于悉尼北岸Seaforth住宅區，毗鄰Middle Harbour，占地近700平方米，總使用面積達300平方米，雙車庫獨立住宅最大化的利用了場地絕佳的濱海景觀和日照條件。
Seaforth House is located in Northern Beaches Sydney. It is on a quiet street on a hillside in close proximity to Middle Harbor, Seaforth, offering magnificent views to the south. The design maximized the landscape of the site, taking full advantage of the views facing the harbor and the sunlight from the north
建築主體位于傾斜的山坡上，主要由兩個一大一小的方形體塊組成，從沿街面只能看到建築主體的三分之一,而木制立面的處理使得建築和諧地融入到沿街面的景觀當中。穿過前門，即可將Middle Harbour海港迷人的景色盡收眼底。
The house is positioned on a sloped hillside so that only one-third of the major body is visible from the street. The timber-clad façade harmonizes with the site’s natural plantation as the house modestly blends into the street’s landscape. Passing through the front gate, one is immediately faced with a breathtaking landscape of harbor views.
建築共三層，起居空間和三間臥室被設置在較大的體塊中，車庫和另一間臥室則位于較小體塊中。主入口和車庫均位于臨街層，該層通高的起居空間連著開放式的廚房，與夾層的多功能廳構成了複式空間，並擴展至護外露台空間，成爲室內空間最大的亮點。
The house’s central design aesthetic is comprised of two wooden boxes – one large and one small. The two ‘boxes’ are the major structural components of the house. The large box holds the living areas and three bedrooms while the smaller box holds the garage and one bedroom.
SEAFORTH HOUSE主立面朝南，最大程度地將海港景色引入室內。與此同時，爲了更好的利用來自北面的自然光，建築南北向進深僅爲7米，並在立面上采用地玻璃窗，外部安裝可調式百葉，加上懸挑、架空等帶來的豐富空間，突破了傳統的分隔，模糊了室內外界線。起居區域齊平街道水平高度，而臥室則位于沿地形坡度較低的水平高度，依附地形，自然地區分出活動區域與隱私生活區，私密性極佳。
The house is orientated to the south to capture the splendid harbor views – but in order to capture the natural sunlight from the north, the large ‘box’ was built with a width of only seven meters from north to south, using full height windows with adjustable external louvres to maximize internal light. The living room is at street level, whereas the bedrooms are positioned on the lower level below, designed with sliding windows on the north and south sides, enhancing natural ventilation and illuminating the house.
戶外休閑庭院同樣依附地形疊級而下，通過大面積的木制鋪裝，與建築主體高度相融。19米長的遊泳池，從建築主體懸挑部分下方一直延伸到庭院內的開放區域，將建築的灰空間與庭院陽光充足的開發空間柔和地聯系起來。泳池旁的鵝卵石小徑作爲庭院的一部分，其下方的覆土景觀，巧妙地將整個項目的電氣設施、泳池的太陽能自動溫控裝置、自動換水系統等隱藏起來，使整個設計可見之處簡潔統一。
The outdoor entertaining area is paved with timber decking and is the most enjoyable entertaining and relaxation space of the house. The feature of the entertaining area is a 19 metre long swimming pool that stretches from the shadowed part underneath the cantilever major body to the open area bathing in sunlight. The stone-pebble path next to the pool acts as part of the landscape and a maintenance corridor to the garden where a raised plant box has been placed to provide a stylish backyard garden, as well as a boundary and privacy screen .
