坐着飞机去美国
7月9日 Los Angeles 连续地长时间的飞机真是受不了。
持久的12个小时，终于在精神崩溃，双腿发麻之前到达了洛杉矶，尽管旁边坐了个帅帅的ABC，飞机上烤小面包一口气依旧能吃两个，可还是不想再经历二回。越发后悔没有提前几天，能更加从容的去感受西海岸的热情。 好在有个热心的姐姐，发动师弟师妹前来接机游玩，尽管全程都痴迷于小精灵的捕获，却仍不失一个热情不拘小节可爱的好导游。没有她根本没法去逛GettyCenter啊。
因鸢尾花而知晓Getty Museum，却发现远不及此。拜前段恶补各类BBC艺术片所赐，对欧洲的艺术有了泛泛地理解，在这里名字再次与视觉重叠，光线的投射，人物蹙眉，讪笑，为了呈现某种面貌而特意摆出的造型，隐藏在赞助人意图之下的画家本人的小心思……名词变成了最最直观的感受。强烈写实主义风格的希腊罗马雕塑，经过不同主流精神的演绎，同源的艺术呈现出纤细与粗旷……在雕塑和绘画面前的我是慌乱的：观画、简介、拍照…双手在相机、手机词典、讲解器之间互相转换。最后颓唐地服从在时间的无情之下，走马观花而已。梵高 莫奈 马奈 伦勃朗 迭戈 雅克路易大卫 提香 最后只记住了在介绍中的姓名……莫高窟41窟的壁画在Getty巡展，众人慕名而来，然而真正来自中国的我们却因为时间，不得不将此展弃之。 坐落在小山上的museum，可以俯瞰整个LA，较之Gettyvilla石质建筑，其盛名在外的中心花园有些逊色。 Santa Monica beach 人多的简直，除了不时见到的棕榈树，并没有西海岸应有的震撼，可能是并未下水的缘故，没有做成逐浪的少年，只留下在灿烂的加州阳光下，跳出傻子的我的身影。
晚上姐姐请的roiling crab简直惊喜！是对大快朵颐的最佳诠释：六人一桌，桌上一纸，纸上铺满海鲜。不用餐具，直接徒手，回归本真，饭毕桌上一片狼籍。没吃过如此之鲜味，没吃过如此之畅快，也只有美国人，能用如此粗暴直接之法烹鲜，酣畅淋漓之痛快，一扫疲惫。
饭毕又是飞机上一夜！ 7月9日 Detroit 大名鼎鼎破产之城Detroit！ 等待大部队汇合的时间着实令人讨厌。 7月11日 east Lansing 抵达michigan state univetsity，分宿舍，介绍基本概况，办各种证件（明明特意和办证小哥说了please more beautiful thanks，然而还是将本来比较有纪念意义的学生卡拍成了什么鬼样子=_=），同行的小友们都甚是羞涩，然而接触下来，发现个个都是可爱的孩子。尽管比较闷，但是内心各个还是住了热烈的小火苗，与这边学生的表里一致的热情友善，喜爱搭话，其实异曲同工。真的不是我们不热情，真的只是我们太内秀。

路途之中，偶遇教堂一，兄弟会若干，美术馆一个，很新很现代，设计感较强，丝毫没有欧洲那股潮湿沉重的历史沉重感。
啊啊啊，最近好忙，太多作业了噜。没时间写，贴上作业凑数…… Observation This Sunday, both of us went to Lake Lansing for barbecue. This was an excellent chance for us to be more close to the nature. The view was beautiful but the wind was too heavy which made me feel a little uncomfortable sitting outside. However it still was an unforgettable memory for me.
Maybe I should play volleyball or play water in lake, but in fact I just sat on the glass which had the great shade because of the tree. That is the first difference between China and America. If we go outside, usually, people in my country will choose somewhere which is shady to sit and chat with others. Exposed to the sun is not the first choice in china and girls will take umbrella to protect them not be hurt by the sun. Things seem to go different in America. All of the people try their best to be darker and they do enjoy this hot feelings. Maybe this phenomenon can date back to the cultural differences. People who live in different country will get various educations from their country culture, even if they do not notice it at all. Their actions, feelings, expressions, values, even some tiny things are did effect by their culture. Enjoying the sun is just the basic explanation of the beautiful. There must have some other similar things that we can find out.
Chicago Chicago is the third biggest city in America. So when I first came to here, it gave the totally different feelings of me. Not like the east lansing, the whole city is busy, modern, historic, and full of the humanity. There has the magnificent mile, which can represent the prosperity of the Chicago, however, there are still lots of vagrants sitting on the street, waiting for others help. The biggest contrast between this famous avenue left me the deep impression of this huge city. If America is the most equitable country in the world, why it still has too many people can not enjoy the comfortable lives?
As usual, many people came to the Millennium Park with their families and did catch lots of things with them. It was a funny thing I noticed, the family activities usually led by the women. It was totally different from the common sense in my mind. In fact, the word ‘gentleman’ comes from the western country, which means the men should try their best to make women feel more comfortable. But in this afternoon, it seemed that I should update my definition of the gentleman. The true gentleman is not just to help women but also should show his biggest respect to the women. Not only in women’s characteristics but also in their skilled areas. Nowadays, no one can deny that woman can live independently without the man. In fact, numerous women show us they do have the ability to make the balance between family and work. So it has no reasons to doubt wives decisions of the family and the only thing the husbands can do is to follow the order and help their wives when they cannot lift some heavy things.
Reflections on capitol tour and museum In fact, this is my second time to visit the capitol. I went there by bus in leisure time. Thanks for the tour guide leading us to visit almost every corner of the capitol and I am familiar with the government of Michigan State partly. There has an extremely charming dome which decorated by some bright stars when I first come into the capitol. Besides of it, some pictures which contains the highly hope of Michigan, are painting on the wall. Coming to the second floor, I did attract by the picture of the governor, called Jennifer M. Granholm. She is the only female governor of the whole history of the Michigan.
To be honest, comparing to the capitol, the museum is not very interesting as the capitol. As the newest state, Michigan does not have the long history to show us. Only some natives’ tools, the achievements of the modern Michigan, the great depression etc. however, the decorations of the museum are excellent, which makes me feel more comfortable and do not need to go round to find the exit. The docents of the museum are also very patient. Robert frost In fact, I did not know him until I search him on the internet. As the Wikipedia said, he is borned San Francisco, California and he is very famous for his poem. He received four Pulitzer Prizes for Poetry, all I have known is that Pulitzer prizes is a distinguished award of America. So if his poems can win fourth of it, it must be some unique things in his articles. Too many words to describe his poems, all the pros and cons seem have enough reasons to explain why they think like that. But in my mind, only the poem itself can respect the true meaning of the poet, especially for those who do not be familiar with him. Here is the representative poem of him, called: Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. He will not see me stopping here To watch his woods fill up with snow. My little horse must think it queer To stop without a farmhouse near Between the woods and frozen lake The darkest evening of the year. He gives his harness bells a shake To ask if there is some mistake. The only other sound's the sweep Of easy wind and downy flake. The woods are lovely, dark, and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep. As we can feel from the poem, the whole feeling of it is peaceful, a little funny and some helpless because of the snow. The reader can experience the feelings of the person who is eager to meet someone, because he must keep his promises for her, I use her to represent the guy he wants to keep with, and this will be more romantic than the common friends. All the words in the poem are simple and monosyllable, but the last word of the each line is rhyme, which make the whole poem becomes more interesting. The emotion is so positive, I can’t believe this is from the person who undergo so much terrible things in his life. In fact, this created in 1923 when Frost was 49. At this time, Robert Frost was purchased by The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. People always say Frost emphasizes the dark background of life, however I don’t have the same feeling, the only thing I got from this poem is the enthusiasm of the world, the simple lifestyle and the last repeated sentences do stress the earnest of the person’s feeling. 我想我认得这座森林。 林主的房子就在前村； 却见不到我在此歇马， 看他林中飘满的雪景。 我的小马一定很惊讶， 周围望不见什么人家， 竟在一年最暗的黄昏， 寒林和冰湖之间停下。 马儿摇响身上的串铃， 问我这地方该不该停。 此外只有微风拂雪片， 再也听不见其他声音。 森林又暗又深真可羡， 但是我已经有约在先， 还要赶多少路才安眠， 还要赶多少路才安眠。 Culture I interviewed 3 people about the culture. In fact, this is not the easy question for people to answer. Everyone has the unique definition about culture. One of the staff of the MSU, called Julianne, she thinks culture is the thing to get people together and to make people have the same topic to talk. But the student who learns genetics in MSU, she is an Asian, thinks society is the true meaning of the culture. So basing on these comprehensions of the culture, they answered my questions in totally different ways. About the difference of china and usa, all the answers are still basing on some easy understanding things, such as appearance, food, habit and so on. And this is because they don’t know china at all. Even some of them chose the lesson of Chinese culture, all they know is from some ancient story books like Journey to the West and so on. However, things go to different in usa. Both of them are think the culture of usa is multicultural, just like an apple pie, throwing too much things in it and you can also taste different flavors of it. And they also think the best thing for the usa culture is that they have no root at all, so they have more chance to create a new culture by themselves. About the communication of the international students, although every year many people come here for different reasons, but some of them still stand out of the whole community. Lots of reasons should be responsible for this phenomenon. Like language barriers, characteristics. For me, I think maybe I know lots of words but sometimes it is hard to start the talking, because in fact, it is hard to find the similarity of each other, and both of us have fewer things to talk about. The second is that people who use English, they talk so fast that I only catch some key words and sometimes I even don’t know what they are talking about. They are very friendly but sometimes they are not very patient to listen others words. Mackinaw The view of the island is far beyond my imagination. How blue is the sea, how terrific the cottage is. Flowers are planted everywhere, no wonder the butterfly will be the most famous insects of the island. The air is salt and sweet because the wind and the candy shop. Many people chose this place for the weekend. Hiking, riding, cycling and swimming in the sea are excellent choices for relaxing. As Mackinac Island is a cycle, so my friends and I chose to rent the bikes to travel around. Facing with the wind, we ride the bikes and enjoyed the time. Absorbed by the pure water, the white clouds and stupid seagulls, I can’t find any words to describe my feeling of that time. So many people from all around the world came to the island to take the chance to close the nature. It seems that I find another place of the fairy-tale world! There is a church in this small island, many young couples chose to get married in this beautiful place. The bride wore the sacred wedding on the carriage with her lover. They crossed every road of the island and got the blessing of every tourist. On Sunday, we got up early to see the sunrise. Many tourists came here just for taking photos of the sunrise and sunset. It cost us a long time to find the best view point of watching. Everything was worthy when the blood red dawn appeared in the sky. The strong contrast of the different colors brought us the strong feelings of the nature. What a masterpiece of the nature make! The color represents the warm, the hope, the passion and the gorgeous beauty of the world. and this is the most unforgettable thing of this trip. Culture difference As I have said before the western people try their best to be darker and they do enjoy this hot feelings. This phenomenon can date back to the cultural differences. People who live in different country will get various educations from their country culture, even if they do not notice it at all. This phenomenon does not just have only one reason. As we have discussed in the class, it has a long history tradition, people who live in china consider that woman should have a white skin, just like the snow. Many poems in china use this metaphor to describe the beauty, this is not only refer to the appearance but also refer to the brilliant characteristic that the woman should have. Besides of this, the traditional clothes and the decorations of the ancient china also require woman to have the white skin to match them well. Due to the family economic of the ancient china, woman should take responsible to take care of the family members, so they don’t have enough time to hang out and just stay at home to be take the responsible for the whole family. However, that doesn’t mean that women are closed to the world. The race of Asian gets darker more easily than the white. And people always eager to get the things they can’t own.
我是比较懒，本来是想每日坚持记下这一个月，结果，呵呵。。。英文不是我装B，其实是作业，也不知对不对，但确实是我这一个月中的小小感悟，有游记有介绍有文化的差异与认同，限于水平，有的时候常常只能写的很肤浅。
对于mackinaw island，我必须多说几句，正是这个岛完成了我13年去台湾却没有环岛骑车的遗憾。微风，蓝天，呆鸟，不断匆匆从我身边经过的各地游客。永远骑得像飞贼，也不知道他们究竟在赶什么的美帝人民；一路叽叽喳喳，逢海边一定要下车打水仗的韩国人；拖着婴儿车，悠悠闲闲的日本夫妇；当然还有一路上听着上世纪老歌的一遍骑车一边拍照的我们。
小岛美的像幅画，大抵美丽都是相同的，这个岛总是叫我想到宝岛的海。好的风景从来是不用修的，自然能心旷神怡。落日是一定要看的，可是傍晚走来走去，直到日落我们都没有走出宾馆前的那一片森林，让高大的松树独自见证了那一抹灿烂的晚霞，着实可惜。尽管天黑了下来，顺着相反的方向，我们却找到了一个渡口，最佳观日出之地。于是相约在明早天边鱼肚方白之时，一起看日出。 一切等待都是值得的。
等待那一抹鲜红，绝对是浪漫之事，看着太阳从无到有，一点点的从海平面现出，天空由铁青——深蓝——淡黄——橙红——到完全明黄。这是一个令人感动的过程，任何的相机都不能记录其色彩，每一种颜色的相接处的过度都是这么的自然，也无怪乎古人能写出 秋水共长天一色 半江瑟瑟半江红 这样的诗句。笨词拙句在描述这样的景致之前，总是苍白。好在矫情的徐志摩，写过一段，摘录如下，就作为这一个月经历的并不准确的结尾。
“我的躯体无限的长大，脚下的山峦比例我的身量，只是一块拳石；这巨人披着散发，长发在风里像一面墨色的大旗，飒飒的在飘荡。这巨人竖立在大地的顶尖上，仰 泰山日出景观面向着东方，平拓着一双长臂，在盼望，在迎接，在催促，在默默的叫唤；在崇拜，在祈祷在流泪——在流久慕未见而将见悲喜交互的热泪……玫瑰汁、葡萄浆、紫荆液、玛瑙精、霜枫叶——大量的染工，在层累的云底工作。无数蜿蜒的鱼龙，爬进了苍白色的云堆。 泰山日出自然景观 一方的异彩，揭去了满天的睡意，唤醒了四隅的明霞——光明的神驹，在热奋地驰骋……”
