我毕业于哲学专业，因此想以自己的方式画哲学家的肖像。
Since I have studied philosophy for many years, I want to portray philosophers in my own way.
In French Philosopher Gilles Deleuze's philosophy, there is a very important concept Becoming (Devenir) which means a process of transformation, change, flight, or movement within an assemblage. Also, animals are important in Deleuze’s work. Researchers even created a concept in these animals’ honor: the becoming-animal. Deleuze uses the word of the territory (de- and re-territorialization) to link the animal world to the work of philosophers. So I want to create some visual images of the transformation.
Surrealism influenced me and I’m inspired by Michaël Borremans's somber figures and darkly comic atmosphere. But I want to try a more raw, brutish and childlike way in the next two paintings.
