Reduced relative clauses
关系从句中只有带that、who或which + be的才可以简化。虽然有这些代词、但动词不同，以及带whose、when或where的从句不可简化。
Susan, who was proficient in two languages by age 5, speaks five languages fluently. She speaks English, which is hermother tongue. She was proficient in Spanish until she spent some time in Spain, where she improved her Spanishtremendously. Susan also speaks Italian, French and Mandarin. Now Susan is studying Arabic at a language school thatwas started by her husband. Ali, whose native language is Arabic, speaks three language fluently. Susan really admirespeople who are trying to learn a second language.
