200% New Fans:How to Run a Wechat Account | 如何运营微信公众号

It is the official account of district 89 division E and division N.
One year ago,I passed the interview and became the vppr of Division N. and my main work is to establish the brand of Division ,including runing this account.
With excitement,I got in to it and- what? only 700 fans! this is a account for 2 divisions and 36 clubs, but very few people followed it. We needed a change.
Now, a year later,2200 members follow this account.over 200% increase. which means it has been accepted by many people.
So what did I do? Let me show you three principal skills.
1.Positioning (定位)
Which means set the goals and the strategies to place a product occupies in people’s minds.
They say all roads lead to Rome ,but we can only choose one way at one time,right?
Since division purpose is to provide resources to clubs and areas to achieve Distinguished goals. This account also need to do it .
And I have to go to work in the day time so I have no much time to prepare the articles.
So I decided to make this account useful rather than cool or creative.
to be a useful platform,that is it.
So I post 2 kinds of articles:
(1) the performance of Division :like training and contests.
(2) all the knowledge tmc members and guests need to learn : the way to find clubs, TM educational path, communication and Presentation Skills , recent workshops and so on.
2. Marking (标识)
Why marking? It is all about brand building.when you read the article, I want you to know where it is from. and that makes me to concentrate on detail work
for example ,I design a unique format at the beginning and the end of every articles.
And two-level interacting menues(自定义菜单) are an important tool to guide fans to read the recent hot news.
3.Reach (渠道)
After running this account I became crazy!
I would repost every articles into the TM wechat groups I stay.
On Open day and chengdu confernce , I Put the QR code onto the poster/ postcards and notes
I even put it on this ppt remind you : come on ,Scan the qr code and follow this excellent account !
all this because I m confident with the quality of this account!
So that is why It has grown to 2200 total fans.
So all things are good? Is there any mistake? Of course!
The VPPR team. In the beginning , I did it myself and felt frustrated soon. So I searched in club meeting and training. “ Hey would you like to come with me ?” “sounds good but I'm afraid that i have no time.”Fortunately I finally found a talented girl to be the editor of account .Then GZ conference bidding program comes, and more friends joined it. Things got better and better.
Finally I realize that teamwork is the key to make this account better, to be not just a useful but a cool media platform.
So that is my exciting one year experience as the division VPPR in running a wechat account.
In the end, the more we serve, the more we share, the more we grow.
