剧情提示：
亨利是一名图书管理员，患上慢性时间错位症，以至于每次发病都将穿越时空。而且，他每次穿越都赤身裸体，经常闹出笑话。久而久之，亨利习以为常。一个偶然的机会，他爱上了一个名叫克莱尔的女孩。为了追求克莱尔，他穿越时空对6岁的克莱尔表白，并许诺未来将娶她为妻。本片段就是亨利对6岁的克莱尔介绍自己的情景。

Henry: Greetings, earthling.
Claire: Mark, you idiot.
Henry: Ow! Claire, I'm not gonna hurt you. Just please don't throw anything at me.
Claire: Who are you, how do you know my name, and why can't you come out?
Henry: Can you just hand me the blanket?
Claire: Maybe I should call my mom.
Henry: No, no, no. Don't call your mom, please. Just hand me the blanket and I'll leave.
Claire: What do you need the blanket for?
Henry: I'm a time traveler. I come from the future. And when I do, I don't get to bring myclothes.
Claire: There's no such thing as time travelers.
Henry: Yes, there is. In fact, you and I are friends in the future, when you're a lady.
Claire: Am I pretty?
Henry: Yes. Very.
Claire: Prove you're from the future.
Henry: Well, your name is Claire Abshire. Born May 24th, 1972. Your parents are Philip andLucille.
Claire: So you know things. That doesn't prove you're from the future.
Henry: Okay. This weekend, your brother, Mark, who's a real pain in the ass...falls out of atree and breaks his arm.
Claire: Yeah, but I won't know till then if you're telling the truth or not.
Henry: Well, if you hang around long enough, you'll see me disappear.
Claire: But you just got here.
Henry: I'll be back again. Lots of times. In fact...I'll be back next Tuesday at 4. And it'd be greatif, when you come then, you could bring me some clothes. Some your dad won't miss. Nice tomeet you.

throw sth. at sb.“把某物扔向某人”；

2.Can you just hand me the blanket?
hand sb. sth.或hand sth. to sb.“把某物递给某人”；

get to do sth.有两个意思：
（1）开始做某事；
I got to know him in 1995. 我是1995年认识他的。

（2）有机会做某事，设法做成某事；
He never got to go to college. 他从无机会上大学。
How did you get to be captain? 你是怎样当上船长的?
本句中的get to bring my clothes就是“没有办法带衣服”的意思。

5.fall out of“从...跌落下来”；
Even monkeys fall out of trees. 即使猴子也有从树上掉下来的时候。

6.Well, if you hang around long enough, you'll see me disappear.
hand around“逗留，徘徊，闲逛”；
If you see anyone hanging around here tell them to hop off. 如果你看到有人在这儿闲荡，就叫他们走开。
