Fifteen’s second dream
I had this terrible tinnitus.
I was first time using sueno myself.
In the darkness, in the silence, I thought I would sink into my endless memory - the memory about Sun Chu and me. I closed my eyes to stare at the liquid link, and I heard this terribly turbulent tinnitus. In the void, just like being hypnotized, I was paralyzed. That turbulent tinnitus was climbing and descending, aggrandizing and diminishing. It was like the echo in the shell, and it was like the ripples on that lake.
“what are you wearing for Macy’s party?” Sun Chu asked me.
“I dunno. What you going to wear?” I asked back.
“I’ll just wear you.” Sun Chu unbuttoned her shirt, looking at me provokingly. I got to admit Sun Chu was good at this. She knew how to use her body advantage, and she had a perfectly advantageous body.
Sun Chu was an elegant and fainéant cat, walking towards me like a butterfly. She feathered her hands on my shoulders, traced a line alongside my clavicles, and looked down at me, wearing her charming and dangerous smile, whereas I was a naïve mouse under her paw, excited, quivering, fearful, helpless and so attracted by her.
We are predator and prey.
A cat is a sinister hunter. A cat kills for fun.
A stab went through my heart, as I deciphered the desire in her pupillae. She was just killing me for fun.
Sun Chu had crystal eyes, eyelash trembling, like a moth expanding wings emerging from a cocoon, a dew striking on the Mino, like the moan of a mother wolf that lost her kid, hands of the clock massaging time, like my broken heart about to fall. I closed my eyes. A tear dropped. Sun Chu kissed my tear. Sun Chu kissed me. Injured wings, ripped Mino, shattered mother, senescence hands, and my a million pieces heart, are all my tinnitus, calling my name in the dark, in her kiss.
“Hold back the river, So I”
“can stop for a minute and see where you hide”
Those are the rhyme in my sueno. Those were sung by Sun Chu.
The sound of emerging, of striking, of moaning, of tickling, of tears falling, of kisses on my lips, was all sound of Sun Chu. It was all the turbulence of my tinnitus. Every syllable was spaghetti ed to infinite. Subjectively, time would be expanded, and I had infinite time to encoding and decoding all the raw audio data. Or say, my brain was fast enough to understand every single piece of audio data.
Macy’s party was to celebrate her breaking success in Artificial intelligence. Macy was a very good friend of Sun Chu and me, a theorist, a nanobiologist. The theory of human-machine civilization by Raymond Kurzweil was widely accepted by the Reach. Macy was the first one in the Reach achieved a cyberbrain on clinically study. Of course, those studies were undertaken extremely secretly, and that party only had a few good friends in the Reach invited. Everyone was so excited about this breaking news. Cyberbrain is the very first step of human-machine civilization. If a human brain can be cyberized and datalized, the basis of whole humanity civilization will change dramatically. Humanity will welcome human-machine civilization soon.
“ATM cyberbrain is not stabilized and mature yet.” Germani Macy was very good at public speech and talking like an important asshole. “ but of course, we believe that, we can and we will achieve our next victory soon. We have so many talents in the Reach,” Macy looked around, and continued, “we are achieving our next victory soon as long as we keep working and sharing.” Macy held the glass high, and everyone toasted to the air.
Sun Chu, alcoholic, had a bit Rosé on her cheek. She was wearing an emerald color silk dress, no jewelry, and so stunning.
Sun Chu was talking to a cognitive scientist from the Reach, “the light speed that machine can process and switch signals outspeeds at least million times of the way human mammalian brains work…” I only heard a chip, but it was nothing new. A few decades ago, we’ve learnt that there’s room for approximately 100 trillion interneuronal connections in each of our skulls. The space, size, energy intake and consumption, engineering design, everything is limiting humanity to reach the next level.
“we’ll have to get ride of our DNA-based brain to embrace the further.” Said the cognitive scientist.
TO REACH THE FURTHER.
“So the next step will emphasize on cyberbrain flock information exchanging and processing.” Macy walked pass by them and interrupted in a mischievous way. “I cant wait to see a few hundreds cyberbrains outa there working together.”
Macy walked to me, “How is everything going between Sun Chu and you?” she asked. What an annoying woman – I thought.
“Cant be better.” I answered.
“any plan getting yourself a cyberbrain?” my turn to ask, and my way to greet a dear friend and an annoying woman.
“No.” A very brief answer.
TBH, I didn’t care why not, and I didn’t bother to ask.
“ do you have anything for me?” Macy was a dear friend, an annoying woman, and a very demanding scientist.
“Yes.” I nodded. “it’s called sueno. “
