What is the case study model? 案例研究模型是什么？
A method to interpret and analyze real life business situations in an effort to suggest possible solutions. Case studies are prepared in the form of a formal report consist of five important sections.

Section one: summary of the facts第一节：事实摘要
This section should present a brief listing of the key facts with citations from the case where appropriate. It should not exceed one paragraph.
No long-winded explanations, just quick facts.

Section two: statement of the problem 第二节：问题陈述
This section should present a brief description of the problem. It should not exceed one paragraph. Sample questions to guide the response:
· Have I identified the basic problem or just symptoms?
· If there are multiple problems, are they (un)related?
本节应简要介绍核心问题。篇幅不超过一页。示例如下：
•是否确定了基本问题或只是给出了现象？
•如果存在多个问题，它们是（否）相关？

Section three: Analysis/Causes of the problem 第三节：分析/原因
Detailed analysis of the causes of the problem.
Sample questions to guide the response:
· Do the causes relate to the problem?
· Have I applied appropriate cause material?
· When I draw conclusions or make assumptions?
· Do I support these conclusions or assumption with a statement from the reading or an example of other resources?
详细分析问题的原因。

Section four: alternatives第四节：方案列表
Outline a variety of possible solution to the problem.
Your solution must address the causes of your problem.
It should be specific, stating what should be done, by whom, and in what sequence.
Outline the pros and cons of each alternative, be sure your solution is not too general, for example, “the manager needs to match his style to the situation. ”is not good.

Select one of your alternatives and explain why it is the best choice.
It should include the implementation: A step-by-step list of how you will go about implementing your solution. It may also consider what could go wrong and offer a contingency plan. Sample questions to help guide the response:
· Do I support my conclusions with appropriately referenced facts, quotes, explanations from the case, readings, and lecture notes?
· Do my justifications recognize the pros and cons listed earlier?
