1. His skin, white despite the faint flush from yesterday's hunting trip, literally sparkled, like thousands of diamons were embedded in the surface.

Edward走出了树荫，解开衬衫，使胸膛暴露在阳光下。阳光照到的皮肤银光闪闪，好像镶嵌了无数颗钻石，耀眼夺目。（我想黛西应该会很喜欢Edward，不好意思串戏了）

2. The meadow, so spectacular to me at first, paled next to his magnificence.

我喜欢这个表达，pale next to 与......相比显得平庸

3. I smelled his cool breath in my face. Sweet, delicious, the scent made my mouth water.

两个人离得很近，Bella感受着他的气息，不自觉地咽口水，Bella真是个小色魔，沉迷于男色，还垂涎三尺。

4. "Wanting to be with me. That's really not in your best interest."

Bella见识了Edward的真实身份后，开始意识到时间的流逝和年龄的问题，in your best interest 对你最有利。

6. "Now let's say you placed in that room a glass of hundred-year-old brandy, the rarest, finest cognac- and filled the room eith its warm aroma-how do you think he would fare then?"

Edward用酒鬼对酒的迫切渴望来比喻自己对Bella的感觉，cognac法国白兰地≈ brandy, fare遭遇，过活，进展，这里不用这么复杂，可以直接翻译成 “你觉得他会怎么做？”

7. "Emmett has been on the wagon longer, so to speak, and he understood what I meant."

哇，Emmett这个看起来肌肉发达的健康大男孩原来爱喝酒啊我的天，on the wagon 戒酒（俚语）

8."So if we'd met...oh, in a dark alley or something..." I trailed off.

Bella幻想如果当初她和Edward是在一个没人的小黑巷子里碰到，那会不会......早就被......吃了？trail off 声音/口气逐渐变弱

9. He glanced at me grimly, both of us remembering."You must have thought I was possessed."

回想当初两人第一次在教室见面的场景，Edward看着Bella，做出一副既想扑上去又想快吐了的逃离状，possessed作形容词是疯狂的，着魔的。

10. "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb...," he murmured. I looked away, hiding my eyes as I thrilled to the word.

"What a stupid lamb," I sighed.

"What a thick, masochistic lion."

把两个人的关系比作狮子爱上了羊，很贴切了。当然狼（Jacob）也爱上了羊，不过狼出现做主角是在下一部书里，masochistic自讨苦吃的

11. I tucked my chin."No throat exposure."

Edward笑着说Bella的脖子对他有致命的吸引力，Bella做出缩下巴的动作，这样就没有脖子啦，Bella好可爱呀。

12. I felt as if I were stupidly sticking my head out the window of an airplane in flight.

哈哈哈哈哈哈，记得Edward背着Bella在树林里急速穿行吗，这里是Bella的感受描写，感觉像坐飞机的时候把头探出了窗户哈哈哈哈哈哈，下次记得戴头盔呀！

13. Edward hesitated to test himself, to see if this was safe, to make sure he was still in control of his need.

And then his cold, marble lips pressed very softly against mine.

终于啊终于！我都看了半本书了你们两个才亲亲！我知道可能有跨物种的生理障碍，但是你们终于突破了它！啊啊啊啊啊啊！好开心呀！粉色泡泡冒起来~
