十八岁的生日聚会，Bella遭到Jasper攻击
1. Like a dried apricot, but with a puff of thick white hair standing out in a cloud around it.
Bella梦里看到了奶奶，奶奶的脸皱的像失去水分的干杏，厚实蓬松的白发像云彩一样胡乱扑在头上。羡慕奶奶的发量和蓬松感......
2. He pressed his icy, perfect lips against my wasted cheek.
"Happy birthday," he whispered.
梦里最后，Edward轻吻了Bella枯瘦的脸颊，原来镜子里的老人不是奶奶，而是Bella年老的自己，wasted 瘦骨嶙峋的（这里不是浪费的意思哦）

7. It was longer and gelled into carefully casual disarray. It was easy to see where his inspiration came from -- but Edward's look wasn't something that could be achieved through imitation.
暑假过后，Mike换了新发型，头发留长，还用了发胶哈哈哈哈哈，Bella一眼就看出Mike这个发型是在学Edward,最后还不忘炫耀一下，哼！有人模仿他的头，有人模仿他发，但我Edward的颜可不是谁随随便便就能模仿的！
8. Edward had a lot of money -- I didn't even want to think about how much. Money meant next to nothing to Edward or the rest of the Cullens.

9. I rolled my eyes. "Let's go watch the Capulets and Montagues hack each other up, all right?"
罗密欧姓Montague，朱丽叶姓Capulet，所以这两个姓氏一起出现的时候，一般就是指《罗密欧与朱丽叶》啦。
10. Romeo was one of my favorite fictional characters. Until I'd met Edward, I'd sort of had a thing for him.
have a thing for 有好感，喜欢，Bella喜欢罗密欧？好吧，这我有点理解不了。
11. "I'll never put you in danger again, so it's a moot point."
知道当初James可能已经把Bella杀害了的时候，Edward已经做好了去意大利赴死的准备，Bella听后很是后怕，要Edward答应不许再有这种想法，moot point有争议的问题。
12. "Bella, the last real birthday any of us had was Emmett in 1935. Cut us a little slack, and don't be too difficult tonight. They're all very excited."
Bella死活不愿意去Cullen家参加Party, Edwar劝说着都打上了感情牌，cut us a little slack 放我们一马，行行好吧！
13. Edward took a few deep breaths to calm himself. "This is a party," he reminded me. "Try to be a good sport."
be a good sport 够朋友，开朗大度
14. Jasper slammed into Edward, and the sound was like the crash of boulders in a rock slide.
Bella拆礼物时不小心割破了手指，Jasper吸血的本性控制不住，朝Bella扑了过去，rock slide岩石崩塌。
