Lesson 27 A wet night 潮湿的夜（雨夜）

What happened to the boys in the night?这些男孩晚上发生了什么？

Late in the afternoon. The boys put up their tent in the middle of a field. As soon as these（this） was done.傍晚，一群男孩把帐篷支在野地中。等他们把这一切弄好后。

They cooked a meal over an open fire. They were all hungry and (the) foods smelt(smelled) good. After a wonderful meal. They told stories and sang songs by the campfire. But some time later, it beginning(began) to rain. 他们在篝火上煮饭。大家都饿了，食物闻起来很香。饱餐一顿后，他们围着篝火讲故事，唱歌。但过了一会，天开始下雨。

The boys felt tired, so they put out the fire and cramped(crept) into their tent. There sleeping bags were warm and comfortable. So they all slept soundly. In the middle of the night. Two boys woke up and began shouting. The tent was flow up(full of) water. 男孩们都累了，所以（于是）他们扑灭了火爬进帐篷。睡袋温暖又舒服，大家都睡得很沉。午夜时分，两个男孩醒了并开始大叫，他们的帐篷里都是水。

They all left(leapt) out of their sleeping bags and hurried outside. It was rainy(raining) heavily and they found that (a) stream had formed in the field. The stream ran(wound) its way across the field and(then) flow(ed) right under their tent. 大家匆忙的跳到睡袋，（跑到）外面。雨下的很大，在旷野上形成了一个小溪，小溪在野地扩散流到了帐篷底下（小溪穿过田野，正好从帐篷底下流过去）。
