(Translated by Robin Fulton) (刘智临 译) [注]: ①:稍需一说的,是我据英译者Robin Fulton自己的一篇Tomas Haikudikter(From The North No.51 Autumn 2013 [The Poetry Business, Sheffield])发见他自己对于“死亡之蓝山”那首的初译"The white sun’s a long–/distance runner against/the blue mountains of death."是不满的,他说:"Fifteen years after my unsatisfactory version appeared, my improved one emerged:The white sun, lonely/orienteer on the way/to death’s blue mountains"——于是我以此为他这首的英译,这或许与通行的某些翻译所据不同。另外,"north of all music"我本也很想译为“在万籁之北”,简洁古雅,但一则“万籁”并不易使现代读者立即明白这是在说“一切音乐”;二则“万籁”是偏指一切自然之声,“声音”与“音乐”还是殊异的,故而只好舍弃。"across"是译为“穿过”还是迁就格律的古早的“逾”我也思虑良久,最终觉得“逾”仍能达意,音调也与“王国”等调和,于是选用了。“低低”也是我考虑到"low now"的叠词效果而选用的。其余本还很有可说明的,但我很懒,世务冗繁,暂至此为止吧!
