Every time the bucks went clattering 每次雄鹿们欢腾呦嘤

Over Oklahoma 越过俄里荷巴马州

A firecat bristled in the way. 一只火猫就被激怒，挡住他们的去路。

Wherever they went, 不论它们往哪儿去

They went clattering, 就一直呦呦嘤嘤，

Until they swerved 它们会突然来个急转弯

In a swift, circular line 画一道圆弧

To the right, 往右边

Because of the firecat. 因为那火猫。

Or until they swerved 或者急转弯

In a swift, circular line 画一道圆弧

To the left, 往左边

Because of the firecat. 因为那火猫。

The bucks clattered. 雄鹿欢腾呦嘤

The firecat went leaping, 火猫当道

To the right, to the left, 右边跳跳，左边跳跳

And 然后

Bristled in the way. 毛发怒触，不给过路。

Later, the firecat closed his bright eyes 不多一会儿，火猫闭上它那明亮的眼睛

And slept. 睡着了。
