What night is tonight, all through the waves I row

今夕何夕兮，搴舟中流。

（今晚是怎样的晚上啊，我驾着小舟在河上漫游。）

What day is today, I share with Your Highness the same canoe

今日何日兮，得与王子同舟。

（今天是什么日子啊，能够与王子同船泛舟。）

Ashamed, ashamed am I, in status so low

蒙羞被好兮，不訾诟耻。

（承蒙王子看的起，不因为我是舟子的身份而嫌弃我，责骂我。）

Disturbed, disturbed am I, Your Highness I come to know

心几烦而不绝兮，得知王子。

（心绪纷乱不止啊，因为我知道他居然是王子。）

Uphill grow trees, on the trees boughs grow

My heart goes to you, but you don't know.

山有木兮木有枝，心悦君兮君不知。

（山上有树木啊，树木有丫枝，心中喜欢着你啊，你却不知道。）
