food mill:食物研磨器(手磨这个词你在哪里查滴?我觉得不太通俗。我去淘宝搜了下,一般都翻译成这个。PS:觉得有的时候这类词真的可以去淘宝这类的网站去查)
The food mill purées soups, sauces, vegetables, fruits, raw fish, or mousse mixture:不管是汤羹,酱汁,蔬菜,水果,生鱼片还是慕斯,都可以用食物研磨器研成泥。(我翻的有点直,就是一例子,主要是觉得这句最好能突出研磨器的作用。)
one for fine, one for medium, and one for coarse pureeing:一个用于精研磨,一个用于中研磨,一个用于粗研磨。
The garlic press will purée a whole, unpeeled dove of garlic, or pieces of onion:压蒜器则可以把一整个带皮的蒜头或是成片的洋葱都压碎。
