Companionship
Is the companionship equivalent to friendship? When I looked it up in the dictionarary, I found there are several subtle differences between friendship and companionship. The interpretation of companionship in Oxford e-dictonary , it seems to me, is the nicest one among other dictionararies: it is the pleasant feeling that you have when you have a friendly relationship with somebody and are not alone. So in this sense ,companionship is slow, vivid and true, laying more stress on slow-flowing companion and buoyant feelings when we are with friends. It's one of the tenderest and noblest feelings in our ordinary life. Not like fleeting fireworks exploding in shower of sparks in just that second, companionship is as long-lasting as hill connects another hill, moors stretches another moor, and sea links another sea;Not like rough winds blowing off darling buds of may, companionship is as temperate as sheep bleat, clouds flutter in sky,and raindrops dribble down the window. Companionship is more expressive , vivid and profound than friendship or fellowship. What a mild word! What an ineffable connection!
