Purpose
In this step, scientist starts by deciding what he/she want to research and learn about.
In this step, the scientist creates a clear objective /reason to study a topic. This is important because it helps the scientist focus on a particular area of research
Background Research
In this step, the scientist learns about the previous experiment from other scientists. This is important because at this stage. the scientist can read everything about the topic and develop questions.
Question and Hypothesis
In this step, the scientist creates a question and develops a hypothesis. A hypothesis is an educated guess about the answer to the questions. This is important because it helps focus the research and helps determine whether the scientist's beliefs are true or false.
Experiment or Observation
In this step, the scientist does work to try to find if his/her hypothesis is true or false. This stage is important because the scientist needs evidence to prove his/her hypothesis. They have make sure that nothing interferes the results of their hypothesis
Analysis
In this step, the scientist record and review the date from his / her experiments and observations. This is important because it helps the scientist determine the results.
Conclusion
In this step, the scientist presents his/her findings and states whether, The hypothesis was true or false,This is important because if the hypothesis is true it could become a theory and if it is false it gives the scientist more information to continue her research.
