how people are governed and how public officers are distributed
- partisan :loyalties and attachments contend for honor and for interest.
- “organization of hatreds “:replace conflict to harmony?
- consists of the entire way of life, constitutes an ethos, shapes a common human type, constitutes a citizen body.
How are regimes founded?

1.reflection or choice
2.product of accident
What is a statesman?
- statecraft
- statesman’s necessary quality:philosopher or purely practical skills, transforming human nature or faceless
- practical field, advice giving
great political thinkers were typically engaged in the politics in there times.
what are people stand for:
comparative politics
Which of these regimes are best?
1.ancients tend to believe?
2.moderns believe? domestic
3.small closed society or large cosmopolitan consisting of all man
lacks actuality
How does it influence our behavior ? what is a good citizen?

- idea of freedom
- philosopher can never be a good citizen in any regime. love, loyalty and friendship.
Political Philosophy is the highest tribute we pay to love
political philosophy exists and only exists in “zone of indeterminacy.” between the actual and ideal.
