One reason for the confusion is that it is sometimes used as a verb, and sometimes used as an adjective. 有时人们会困惑于如何使用use to和used to。有一个容易混淆的地方就是,它有时用作动词,有时可以作为形容词 Used as an adjective: be + used to.This means to be accustomed to. For example: I can study with the TV on. I am used to it. It means I am accustomed, adjusted, or don't mind having the TV play while I'm studying. used是一个形容词:be+usedto。意思是习惯于做某事。举个例子:我可以开着电视学习。我已经习惯了。这说的就是我已经调整好状态,或者不在乎学习的时候电视是否开着。 Used as a verb: use to+verb(regular verb) means something that happened but doesn't happen any more. Since it always means something that happened in the past, it should always use past tense. For example: I used to go to school in Paris. (I went to school there before, but now I don't.) 用作动词:use to+ verb的意思是过去发生过,现在已经不再是这种情况了。因为这个说的是过去发生的一些事情,所以要用过去时态。 *Remember, we always use this word when talking about the past. So when do you use use to without the 'd' at the end? When the base form of the verb is used. This includes making negatives and asking questions. 记住,我们用used to的时候都是讨论过去发生的事情。那什么时候可以使用use to结尾呢?当然是使用到动词的基本形式的时候了。这包括否定句和一般疑问句。
