Reflections:
What strike me the most about the five tips of today’s ted talk are the first one about overnight success and the last one about the journey of life. The first tip is really, in my opinion, the essence of success, for it is indeed built upon hard work and time. Like Steve Jobs said, “You can't connect the dots looking forward. You can only connect them looking backwards, so you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.” No one is guaranteed success. We all have to strive, to fail, and to learn.
What also resonates with me is the last tip, and I love the speaker’s sentence that “If every step becomes something to learn or something to celebrate, you will for sure enjoy your journey.” If we could do as she said, then surely every moment of life becomes worth living and valuable, and we then could really enjoy and treasure our miraculous life fully.
