第四届IAI国际设计节暨第13届IAI颁奖礼花落厦门
第四届IAI国际设计节暨第十三届IAI全球设计奖颁奖典礼将于2021年6月17日-20日应邀在厦门举办，这也是IAI自创建以来首次在福建地区举办设计嘉年华活动。
厦门作为东南沿海重要的中心城市、港口及风景旅游城市，高素质的创新创业之城、高颜值的生态花园之城，同时，厦门是国务院确定的首批四个经济特区之一，“一带一路”海陆交通枢纽和人文交流枢纽。2020年12月，厦门又被授予金砖国家新工业革命伙伴关系创新基地，厦门将迎来前所未有的巨大历史发展机遇。
值此之际，第四届IAI国际设计节正式被邀请落户厦门，进一步证明了IAI品牌的在业界的影响力，更体现了亚太设计师联盟倡导的设计赋能的价值观和发展导向，同时，也充分展现了厦门作为一座有格局、有追求、有魅力的特色之城，中西合璧, 开放包容，并以其独特的华侨文化和海洋文化迸发出前所未有的创新活力，昭示着中国城市蝶变的密码。
IAI国际设计节落户厦门正值中国十四五的开端之年，这对厦门打造“一带一路”海陆交通枢纽、人文交流枢纽和金砖国家新工业革命伙伴基地的建设也都具有不可忽视的推动作用，意义特殊，影响深远。
The 4th IAI International Design Festival and the 13th IAI Design Award Ceremony will be held in Xiamen on June 17-20, 2021, which is also the first time that IAI has held a design carnival in Fujian since its establishment.
Xiamen is an important center city, port and tourist city along the southeast coast, the city of high-quality innovation and entrepreneurship, high level of the ecological garden city, meanwhile, Xiamen is one of the first four special economic zones, set by the State Council, "One Belt And One Road" sea and land transport hub and Hub for People-to-People Exchange. Xiamen was awarded Innovation Base of BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership in December 2020. Xiamen will usher in an unprecedented huge historical development opportunity.
On this occasion, the 4th IAI International Design Festival was officially invited to Xiamen, which further proves the influence of IAI brand in the industry, and also reflects the values and development orientation of design empowerment advocated by the Asia-Pacific Designers Federation. At the same time, it fully demonstrates that Xiamen, as a city with the pattern, pursuit and charm, is an open and inclusive city combining Chinese and Western elements. It has unleashed unprecedented innovation vitality with its unique overseas Chinese culture and Marine culture, and it shows the code of the transformation of Chinese cities.
The opening of IAI International Design Festival in Xiamen is just in the beginning year of China's 14th Five-Year Plan, which has a significant and far-reaching impact on Xiamen's efforts to build a "One Belt And One Road" maritime and land transportation hub and people-to-people exchange hub, as well as the construction of a BRICS partner base for the new industrial revolution.
