Gender and the Body)

導讀想法：第四周和第七周、第八周、第九周、第十周、第十二周

本課程探討當代性別研究中的重要主題──身體，透過課程講授及文獻閱讀與討論，並以歷史學、人類學、社會學、生物學、醫療的理論觀點，探討性別與身體的社會、歷史及文化建構，主要議題包括身體的社會建構、身體與性別認同、身體與權力等等，以引導學生思考性別與身體背後的社會建構、認同與權力關係。

課堂要求與評分標準： 1. 提問／批判性反思 (20%)：  每位學生在每週上課前，務必事先閱讀該週指定文本，並以 2 人為一組， 繳交：(1) 1~2 個提問：包括提問內容、提問原因及預先回應，或(2) 批判 性反思／心得：思考文本的理論或觀點，如何連結到妳／你個人經驗、時 事、廣告或文化現象？文本的理論觀點，是否適用於你／妳個人的身體經 驗？而這些經驗又與妳／你所處的社會位置有何關連？上述提問或反思， 請於每週四 22：00 前上傳至 e-learn 的課程討論版。  除了自己的提問或反思以外，每位學生務必於上課前，閱讀完其他所有同 學的提問與心得，並準備於課堂中提出妳／你的回應。 2. 導讀+評述 (10%)：每週由同學輪流導讀指定文本，導讀內容包括文本重點 （歡迎整理成圖表）及個人評述，請於上課前一天 (每週四 23:30 前)將資料上 傳至 e-learn 的課程討論版。 3. 帶領討論（leading discussion）(15%)：每週由同學輪流帶領討論，負責帶領討 論的學生應事先統整、歸納同學所提出之提問，也可提供自己的經驗或問題， 以利於課堂中帶領討論。老師會再針對討論中的議題，進行補充與總結。 4. 平時成績 (15%)：課堂中參與狀況與出席情形。期待每位同學事先閱讀指定素 材及其他同學的提問，並能於課堂中充分參與及交流。 5. 期末書面專題報告（字數在 5000-8000 之間）或製作專題短片（時間在 3~8 分 鐘之間）(40%)：  書面專題報告：可(1)選擇本學期討論的任一個主題，延伸寫作以該主題領 域文獻評述為主的論文，或(2)延伸本學期任何一個主題，嘗試寫一份研究 計畫書（research proposal）(需有完整的文獻探討與問題意識)，或(3)選擇 其他與「性別與身體」相關的主題，進行專題式的研討。專題報告請皆採 用學術寫作格式。

 製作專題短片：選擇「性別與身體」相關之主題，進行專題影片的拍攝與 製作，除於期末繳交完整影片（亦可事先上傳 YouTube）外，請另附影片 拍攝理念與宗旨，並說明該影片與本課程之關係（約 500 字）。  出席與請假：  出席規定：課堂上的收穫，來自每位同學的積極投入，除非特殊原因，期 待每週都能準時見到各位。若缺課 3 次（含）以上，強烈建議辦理停修。  請假：請事先於 Elearn 上告知。  所有導讀、報告及作業繳交時，請於電子檔的檔名及書面報告的首頁，清楚標 示「姓名_作業名稱_繳交日期」 (例：陳明莉_性別與身體—第一週提問 _2021.10.01)，原則上不接受遲交，如有特殊理由請事先告知老師。
