why most females are way more open-minded than males in China?
It's a weird phenomenon, and more than one friend has mentioned, that Chinese females are more curious about novel things, compared with males. I have the same feelings, once I get involved in some recreational or social activities, there are always more girls around; with regard to some tuition courses that are aimed to improve one's capabilities, there are always more girls around.
Why is that? Some points just come to my mind.
First, about human genes - males are more practical, they just see what is really useful for today's work and life. If they don't see the value of something, they just skip them. While girls are sensitive, caring, and future-cautious, not only do they care about the present, but also about their prospects, even someone else's life, so they are more intended to accept new stuff.
Second, Chinese characteristics - the former idea of 'preference for sons over daughters' still works. Decades ago, rural families were proud of their births of sons. Even during the period of the country implemented the one-child policy, boys had privileges when they are born. On the contrary, girls were educated to be independent and strong because there is no one could be banked on in the family. Society spoils the boys rotten.
