今天就来跟Ash一起来看一看怎么来聊新话题talent
Do you have a talent, or something you are good at?
这个话题乍一看很让人无语，这有什么好聊的，更何况对于我们中国人来说谦逊是一种美德，哪有人四处和别人说自己很牛的，但实际上这个话题是老题目skill 的变形，如果我们不把这个talent看的很严肃，这道题就非常好解了。
首先，不要把talent想的很大，某件事情你做的有一点点好就可以说，站在skill这个角度想其实有很多话题可以聊，生活技能，学术技能，职业技能，业余爱好等等，比如可以聊聊吉他guitar，收纳organising，团队合作teamwork,社交socializing，等等。当然你的天赋也不一定非常的“有用”，比如你刮刮乐lottery 总是赢到5元钱，早餐总是能买到最后一个你想要的包子steamed bun。
其次，我们可以利用举例的方式，列出一两个小细节来说明自己有多擅长,这个天赋有多高。或者制造冲突，你尽管有某个天赋但是它没什么用，顺便说说你希望你有什么样的技能。

Well, that’s a very good question, I barely thought about it before, off the top of my head, I think I am adept at observing people, I’m not sure if it can be considered in the traditional sense though. Yet it does help me to quickly blend into a new job. Whenever I’m in a new working environment, I observe how my colleagues socialise with each other, then I try to talk with them in the same way. Because of this, the transition is always easy and short.
Phrases you can use

in the traditional sense 传统意义上的
