Please introduce yourself to us.
Ivanna Gautier：So my name is Ivanna Gautier. I'm Venezuelan French artist,and I paint mostly with oil painting and airbrush. I do realism and that's what I like. I will describe myself as a very patient and like a picture so I go very into details. I'm very patient about my work, and I want people to think that my paintings are like a photography. It takes like at least a month for me to finish an oil painting you know, because as I was said before, I'm very into details. But I never work on only one piece at a time.I work at least at three pieces at a time.It depends on the mood. So at least three or four pieces at a time I'm working.
我是Ivanna Gautier。我是来自委内瑞拉的法国艺术家，我专注于油画和用喷枪创作，我画的是我喜欢的现实主义相关作品。我会将自己描述为一个非常有耐心并且喜欢图片的人，所以我会非常关注细节。我工作的时候非常有耐心，我希望人们看到我的画的时候会觉得它们就像照片一样。我至少需要一个月的时间去完成一幅画，正如我之前所说的一样，我是一个非常关注细节的人。但我不会一次只画一幅画，通常都会是三幅。具体数量取决于我当时的状态，但至少是三到四幅。
How much time per day will you devote to the creation?
Ivanna Gautier：So I usually gone at nine?I don't know it depends on the day,but at least I think I feel bad if I don't paintit like at least eight hours a day, at least. 我一般九点开始，但也取决于那天我的状况如何。但是我一天至少会画8个小时，不然的话我就会觉得很糟糕。
Would you prefer to work alone or collaborate?
Ivanna Gautier：I've never collaborated before,but I'm not close mindabout that.I used to work alone.But if the opportunity came,I would take it. 我之前从未和别人一起合作完成过，但我并不抗拒。我习惯了一个人工作。但如果有机会的话，我会尝试的。
How does Venezuela infulence your creation?
Ivanna Gautier：I grew up in Venezuela,so it has something to do with that.I grew up watching vibrant colors everywhere，like even in the houses, the sky. Everything there is super colorful. And I don't know, I just put that, because I grew up with that in my mind. So I put it in the paintings, and it just looks good. As what I saying before,I think that growing up there with a lot of mural arts, street arts.I think that part I grabbed from there.And the colors are mostly like I was saying before it comes from there.
我成长于委内瑞拉，所以它会体现在我的创作之中。委内瑞拉随处可见鲜艳的色彩，比如房子和天空，那里的所有东西的颜色都十分丰富。所以我不自觉地将它融入到了我的画作中，因为它们从小就伴随着我，所以我绘画的时候也会运用到这些。很幸运的是，它看上去也很棒。就像我之前说过的，我成长的地方有许多壁画和街头艺术。我想我也有从它们之中得到我的创作灵感，就像我之前提到的，颜色也是其中之一。
Could you show the audience your work？
Ivanna Gautier：I'm gonna show you. These are my oil paintings working right now.I'm going to show you a little bit of everything like this is one of my favorites.I was saying before I'm very into details,so you can see that right here. There's all painting and this kind of details are an airbrush. Okay, this is one of them and this is another one of my favorites. They're on the same line. As you can see.And I always paint friends and I never paint people I don't know. So this is a friend of mine. She's called Ashley. And if you want I can also show you the ones I'm working right now.I'm here at the studio. So if you want to take a look, I really want the audience to look at the painting and said like, oh my gosh, that a picture or is it a photo. So that's the first thing I want. I'm working on this right now.This is a friend of mine tattooing another friend. And this is another one. But it's not ready yet. There's a two that I have right now here but I hope you like it. This museum it's a museum here in Madrid. It's an emblematic place.And I think that's the one that I like the most because it was a challenge for me. I worked with very recognized artists very important artists well known or good. And I also paint there like 80 square meter. So it was a challenge. I was the youngest artist right there, it was super cool.

Have you ever considered utilizing different tools when creating?
Ivanna Gautier：I think that with acrylic and the other techniques obviously fine too.But like I said I'm into realism and I think that with oil painting and airbrush, you can get so much closer to that.

Do your choose the company you want to work with?
Ivanna Gautier：I actually don't choose the companies that I work with.They contact me and then I choose who do I want to work with. Because it depends on whether I like the project that they're telling to do.It depends a little bit or what they're working on.So it's more like a kind of lucky thing, you know,if you like the project, or you don't. 实际上，我不会主动说我要和哪家公司合作。一般都是几家公司来联系我，然后我再从中选择我想合作的。因为这常常取决于我对于他们要做的项目是否感兴趣；这与他们正在做的事情有关，所以这有一点靠缘分。情况一般都是你喜欢这个项目或者不喜欢。
Do you want to work with áunn museum?
Ivanna Gautier：I love the concept, you know，and I feel super. You know, I just love it.I think that Okay,let's go therewhen the proposal that come to me.I was like, Okay, let's go there. I really want to be there.
我喜欢这个想法，我非常喜欢它，我觉得可以。当我收到提案的时候，让我们试试吧。我真的想试试。
What is your future plan？
Ivanna Gautier：I’m going to Venezuela in summer,because I really want to do more research about street art and murals and research about the colors and everything.And then I'll be back here in Madrid at a studio,because I'm going to be working on my next solo show.So that's the plan for now.I'm really, I really want to paint like a big mural on the building, like a lateral of a building.So I'm always working in airbrush, but airbrush is not for really big spaces, you know, you can do like 80 or 90 square meters with an airbrush because it's too little.So I really want to try the spray. 夏天的时候我会去委内瑞拉，因为我想进一步了解关于街头艺术、壁画和颜料相关的一切。然后我会回到在马德里的工作室，为我之后的个展做准备。这就是我现在的计划。我十分想尝试在建筑外墙进行大的墙绘创作。我通常用喷枪进行工作，但是喷枪并不适合非常大的空间。你可以选择用喷枪绘制八十到九十平方米的空间，但是喷枪太小了。所以我非常想尝试喷雾。
Why do you want to be an artist?
Ivanna Gautier：I don't know,it just consumes me,it takes me to another planet when I'm painting.Like in my own world, so it was like, okay,I have to do this for a living because I just love doing it. 我不知道，当我画画的时候，我来到了另一个星球。就像是我自己的世界。这就像我不得不做这个因为我爱它。
What do you want to say to the young artists?
Ivanna Gautier：I will say to them that just work hardfocus on what you want and listen nobody but yourself. 我想对他们说，关注你自己真正想要的，不要轻易听从他人的声音。
