'out to lunch'有三个意思：
① 👉字面意思是“外出吃午饭”：
Janet is out to lunch right now, but I can give her a message.
Janet刚刚出去吃午饭了，不过我可以给她捎个口信。
- ⚠️因为'out to lunch'还有其他两个意思，为了避免歧义，在口语中一般不使用'out to lunch'表示“外出吃午饭”，而用'out for lunch'或者是'lunch out'
② 👉心不在焉的，魂不守舍的：(虽然身体还坐在座位上，但是脑子已经出去吃饭了)
